After watching this short documentary on Steve Jobs created by some random YouTuber. I must say, this man is pure inspiration. Even if you dislike Apple's way of conducting business or just Apple products in general. You must give credit and respect where it's due. Steve Jobs literally changed the world!
Sitting here bored, watching Michael Jackson’s Earth Song (great song/video by the way) music video and for some weird reason I’ve got the urge to blog. About what? And Why? I have no clue. So, with that said. I am sitting here clueless writing this blog from my phone (YAY! for iPhone).
O! also, hopefully soon I will update my portfolio section of my website! I’ve been super dooper busy with work/freelancing and school! But, I have bunch of new stuff piled up!
Another thing, I promised myself to blog more often, rather than just tweeting random stuff! I am also, contemplating on removing the comment box.
While I was browsing around on iTunes, looking for an Google Analytics app, I bumped into this app called "I Ain't Broke" (iTunes link), created by MetaForge Studios. After reading the description and viewing the screenshots, I must say this must be by far, most ridiculous, funny and yet dumbest app in iTunes AppStore. App it self costs 99 cents, and description reads;
You know who you are. You ain't rich, but you ain't broke. You're the guy who every now and again can comfortably say, "Fuck yeah, man! Super Size that shit." You've worked kind of hard to get where you are in life. Maybe not really hard, but you've done some shit. Shouldn't others know that? What was the point of getting that associates degree if you can't show off a bit? Now with the new iPhone application I Ain't Broke you can finally exclaim, "I Ain't Broke... Bitches!" Nothing distinguishes you from the truly broke-ass bitches better than the ability to completely waste $0.99 on a blinging ass money app for your phone. In this day and age it's difficult to stand out. Go ahead and make a small investment in your ego. Get your I Ain't Broke iPhone app today, and next time someone's got shit to say about your financial prowess, you go ahead and make them Lincolns rain, SON!
These days, just having an iPhone isn't enough to separate you from the pack. I mean, they're selling them now for a hundred bucks. That's not gangster fly. But imagine this scene; you're kicking it pool side at P. Diddy's house and there are fly ass rap video dancing girlys all around. You whip out your phone and get on Twitter to tweet about how ridiculous it is that your almost broke ass is at P. Diddy's house in the first place. Then across the party you see Carmen Electra, fresh off a break up with the latest tattooed singer dude, she's staring at you like a raging bull. BAM! She does some back flips and shit across the pool deck and lands in your lap. What are you gonna do? Talk about how great she was in Starsky & Hutch? Fuck no! You're gonna whip it out bro, the I Ain't Broke app that is. First of all, it's shiny. Second, it makes money sounds, and money is a natural aphrodisiac. Third, it moves around and will probably distract and entertain most of those dumb ass hoodrats you've been getting with, leaving you free to lay your game on Carmen.
Carmen: "Oooo. It's so shiny and it's money!"
You: "Yeah baby."
Carmen: "What does it do?"
You: "Makes you horny."
BAM! You're hitting skins with Carmen Electra in P. Diddy's laundry room at a fly ass gangster rap pool party. All on behalf of MetaForge Studios, the development powerhouse that brought you I Ain't Broke... You're welcome.
Also, they have a little website for an app which includes a short YouTube clip can be found here.
Remember 1990's Jazz Hip Hop band Digable Planets? if you do, remember Butterfly (Ishmael Butler)? Well, it comes out Butterfly released an a double CD album this summer (2009). First CD is called "Of Light" and the second one is called "Shabazz Palaces." I did some research online and found the official website SHABAZZ PALACES, where you can purchase the both albums in a digital MP3 format or a hardcopy. Both albums are also available at iTunes.
Aafter hearing couple of songs on Rhapsody and Youtube, I am kicking my own ass for not finding about this on time. I will make sure to purchase these amazing CDs for this Christmas.
Here is official short film/music video for Shabazz Palaces.
Also, here is the track "Sparkles" from album Shabazz Palaces.
For the first time in years, I finally got a Christmas wish. I just discovered these awesome Adobe Creative Suite pillows, and I must say they look super dope! They recently stuffed one of the most popular Desktop and iPhone twitter client, the Tweetie.
Prices are very reasonable, I especially like the “Collection Deal,” which it includes the Adobe software that I use on a daily basis. Also, make sure you take a look at their blog, they have a lot cool giveaways.
I’ve been working on my website for a while now. However, today I feel like I am done with it. Sonnyt.com is now running on Sweetcron which is a Lifestream Blogging Software. One of my big concerns about Sweetcron is, it’s blogging feature. I couldn’t write nor edit entries from my phone, also blogging system is pretty plain (well, of course it’s not WordPress or any other blogging system.)
So, I decided to change things up. I merged Sweetcron with my blog hosted at WordPress. Now I can blog on the go from my phone! I also added Comments Box from Facebook, so now you can connect with Facebook to post a comment.
